Small Bead Frame

The Small Bead Frame helps children to understand the concept of place value and to perform addition and subtraction operations. This material consists of a wooden self-standing frame with 4 horizontal wires, each strung with 10 beads in the appropriate hierarchical color. On the left side of the frame there is a strip in white and gray to indicate the families of numbers.
